1. Booking and deposits

  • A mandatory £10 deposit per person is required to secure a booking.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
  • Cash payments are accepted for the remaining balance, but deposits must be paid online.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. If cancellation happens within 72 hours, the booking may be rescheduled, but otherwise the deposit will not be refunded.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests may be made through the website, by phone, or by message.

2. Services and pricing terms

  • Wedding guest and prom makeup is £50 and includes a pampered 60–90 minute service, long-lasting camera-friendly makeup, strip lashes, and a top-up goodie bag.
  • Other special occasion makeup is £45 and includes strip lashes and a look tailored to the client’s event, such as a corporate function, photoshoot, or birthday.
  • Group bookings of 3 or more people receive 10% off. Travel is charged only once per group booking.
  • Deposit is charged per person. If a group booking reduces to fewer than 3 people, the group discount will no longer apply.
  • There is no reduction in price if a client chooses not to receive an item normally included in the booked service, including strip lashes.

3. Travel fees and location requirements

  • Travel under 5 miles is free.
  • Travel of 5 miles and above is charged at 50p per mile, plus parking where free parking is unavailable.
  • Bookings in London congestion charge areas incur an additional £18 charge during congestion charge hours.
  • For venues more than 70 miles away, accommodation fees may apply where the booking start time is before 10am.
  • All services for more than one person must take place at the same location and be scheduled consecutively.

4. Same-day requests, timing, and delays

  • Services are provided only for the number of people included in the booking.
  • Any on-the-day requests not included in the original booking may incur an extra £10 fee and require immediate payment.
  • Each appointment has a scheduled time allowance and should not run over due to client delays before or during the service.
  • All persons included in the appointment must be available at the scheduled time.
  • Arriving 20 minutes late will incur a £10 late fee. If you arrive later than this, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled, depending on the time available. Rescheduling isn’t guaranteed, and cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit.

5. Health, allergies, and suitability for service

  • All allergies, skin sensitivities, infections, and skin conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • If an allergy or condition is not disclosed, liability for any resulting reaction rests with the client.
  • Mane Artistry reserves the right to cancel the agreement if a disclosed condition is considered a risk to the client’s health or well-being.

6. Behaviour and environment

  • No pets should be in the room where the service is being provided.
  • Small children and pets should be kept away from the working area during the service for safety reasons.
  • Mane Artistry reserves the right to end or cancel a service if client behaviour is inappropriate or abusive. In such cases, all payments already made are non-refundable.

7. Photography and content use

  • Photos or videos taken during or after the service may be used on the website and social media platforms.
  • Clients have the right to refuse photography or videography and may opt out when booking.

8. Cancellations by Mane Artistry

  • If Mane Artistry has to cancel because of circumstances that prevent the service from being carried out, and no suitable alternative can be offered, the client will receive a full refund.
  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used.
  • No further compensation will be offered beyond the refund.

9. Privacy Policy (GDPR)

  • Client data collected may include name, email address, phone number, service address, skin type, allergies, and booking details.
  • This data is used only to manage bookings and provide makeup services.
  • Client information is stored securely and protected from unauthorised access.
  • Client data is not sold to third parties.
  • Clients may request access to, correction of, or erasure of their personal data.

10. Acceptance of terms

By booking a service with Mane Artistry, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
